CORONA TREATMENT
The corona treatment process allows better wettability of plastic, paper and metallized film surfaces in order to improve the adhesion between the film and the layer to be coated (ink, adhesive, lacquer, etc.).

APPLICATIONS
The versatility of the corona treatment stations by Ferrarini & Benelli ensures satisfaction on most of the applications of Blown Film Lines, Cast Film Lines, Extrusion Coating, converting of plastic and metallized films, Flexographic and Rotogravure Presses, label printing, Laminating Machines (with or without solvents), cutting and printing machines for adhesive tapes, no-noise effect, Foam Extruders, Rigid Sheet Extrusion Lines, Coating Machines for adhesive tapes and any other application on request.

TREATMENT TESTS
Ferrarini & Benelli offer all their customers the opportunity of testing corona treatments on any kind of material in our own laboratory. A special laboratory machine allows us to simulate each customer's operating conditions in order to certify the Corona Effect results on test samples to establish the most suitable application.

OTHER PRODUCTS
Ferrarini & Benelli also offer mechanical products, such as spreader rolls and microperforating units, in order to supplement the wide range of corona treaters.

TEST INKS
A wide range of dyne/cm value test ink sets are available from the factory for measuring corona treatment levels.
